Blessing of Homes at Theophany

Households wishing to observe this tradition are encouraged to complete the online form or print the PDF form (below) and return at your earliest convenience. Fr. Barnabas is now scheduling house blessings for the time after Theophany, January 6th, and before the beginning of Great Lent on February 27th.

In preparation, it is the custom as follows: On a table (or in front of the family iconostasis) have an icon, a candle and/or incense, a small bowl of water and some greenery (basil or rosemary is ideal).
